Baby Chemist is an NYC-based indie band and songwriting duo. They are recent 2023 SongDoor International Songwriting Competition Finalists for their unreleased Americana alt-rock track "Miss Indie Anna." Their astral Americana "I'll Still Be Here" and pop-punk cover of 4 Non Blondes' "What's Up?" were both semi-finalists in the 2021 and 2022 Unsigned Only competition. Their music, including retro-soul debut single "Ride In" and acoustic cover of Hank William's "Long Gone Lonesome Blues" have been featured on blogs like The Women of Country, East Portland Blog, Tonspion (Germany), Adobe & Teardrops, and Direct Actu (France), among others. They've received radio airplay on KBRP's (AZ) Woman Soul, Forest FM (UK), Nam Radio (Namibia), Caribbean Broadcast Network, Maestro FM (Moldova), Women of Substance Podcast, and recently signed several songs to publishing/licensing co. Music of the Sea's catalogue. Other partnerships and prior collaborations include Nashville songwriter/publisher Kirsti Manna (Blake Shelton, Big & Rich) and producer Marley Marl. Their original music has previously been featured at the Beacon Theatre, Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden, and Radio City Music Hall.
